The first panel of the 2018 Terrificon in Uncasville, CT was “DC Comics’ Long Lost Love, with Barbara Friedlander,” moderated by yours truly. The lovely and gracious Ms. Friedlander was a DC Comics’ romance and humor editor and writer in the 1960s, as well as the co-creator of the company’s teenage comic title, Swing With Scooter, and generously shared stories of her experiences in the business and with some of the legendary names of the Silver Age with me and the audience. And now, you.
(Once again, I got the recorder started a little late, but only missed the first minute or so.)

Just my compliments on this fabulous conversation, which I finally spent a happy hour – so to speak – listening on a socially distanced Sunday. Maybe Barbara could be involved with a Swing with Scooter trade paperback – if those in charge had a sense of fun. Your voices – accents from a different climate – brightened my afternoon!
